On this edition of Century: Yankee Cannabusiness. Connecticut legalized marijuana in 2021. Now in 2026, the Connecticut legislature is considering changes to its weed laws. An amended version of House Bill 5350, An Act Concerning Cannabis, Hemp and Infused Beverage Regulation, was approved by the Connecticut House of Representatives on April 20 in a roll call vote of 83 to 61, after more than three hours of sometimes contentious debate. This week on Century of Lies we hear portions of that debate including interventions by CT State Reps. Roland Lemar and David Rutigliano.
