This year, a side event was held December First at UN headquarters in New York to commemorate World AIDS Day. Sponsored by UNAIDS and the Missions of Brazil and the Netherlands, this event highlighted the impact of disruptions on the AIDS response, showcased the resilience of countries and communities, and called for global solidarity to end AIDS.
