Century of Lies

On this edition of Century: Marijuana in the Buckeye State. A bill in the Ohio Legislature would revise the adult use and medical marijuana laws in the state of Ohio and also impose new restrictions on intoxicating hemp products. Senate Bill 56 was passed by the Ohio Senate back in February. The bill then went to the House. House committees in October approved major changes in the language.

The report’s release coincides with the fiftieth anniversary of New Zealand’s Misuse of Drugs Act becoming law in 1975.

The state of New York may soon follow suit. The New York State Assembly’s Standing Committee on Health held a public hearing September 30 to examine the potential medicinal value and risks of psilocybin.
