This week on Century of Lies: Remembering Ernie Drucker. Ernest Drucker, PhD, was a brilliant man. He was also a good friend and colleague. Ernie was author of over one hundred peer reviewed scientific articles, texts, and book chapters, founding Associate Editor of The International Journal of Drug Policy, founder and Editor in Chief, along with John Booth Davies, of Addiction Research and Theory, and founding Editor in Chief of Harm Reduction Journal. He was a founder of the International Harm Reduction Association and a founder and Chairman of the Board of Doctors of the World / USA. Ernie’s book, A Plague of Prisons: The Epidemiology of Mass Incarceration in America, was published by The New Press in Sept of 2011. Ernie passed away at home on January 26, 2025. On this edition of Century, we pay tribute to the late Ernie Drucker.
