This week on Century of Lies: European Drug Report 2024. The European Monitoring Centre on Drugs and Drug Addiction released its 2024 European Drug Report on Tuesday June Eleventh. On this edition of Century we bring you audio from the news conference held by EMCDDA to mark the release, with discussion of the European drug market, novel psychoactive substances, the impact of the Taliban’s ban on heroin production, and EMCDDA Director Alexis Goosdeel’s plan to visit Canada in September of this year to look at drug policy reforms there including safe supply and cannabis legalization.
