This week on Century of Lies: Incarceration and Crime. The Sentencing Project has released a new report entitled “Incarceration & Crime: A Weak Relationship,” which illustrates that less imprisonment often happens alongside improvements to community safety. They held a webinar recently to discuss this report, to examine non-prison alternatives to enhance community safety, and to look at the news media’s relationship to public concerns about crime.
